Fourth NUMA property in the Italian fashion metropolis
NUMA grows Italian portfolio to over 280 keys
36 new generous units in central Milan
Berlin, 17th October 2023 – NUMA Group, Europe's leading digital hospitality platform, is operating a fourth property in Milan in partnership with Investire SGR (Banca Finnat Group), Italy’s leading real estate fund management company in the residential market, with more than 60 real estate funds under management worth more than EUR 7 billion. Via its new partnership with NUMA, SGR strengthens its market position, expanding its presence in the hospitality sector.
The new NUMA Sempione, currently under construction with an opening scheduled for Q4 2024, will consist of 36 rent-to-rent units (with short-term rentals) for 72 beds and an average of 55 square meters.
The new property, a former office and residential building, is located at Corso Sempione 39, right in the center of the sought-after Fiera district, with the skylines of Milan’s ‘Citylife’ and ‘Chinatown’ in the immediate vicinity, the famous Castello Sforzesco in Sempione Park only a 20-minute walk away, and Milan’s Duomo within a 10-minute bike ride.
With the reconstruction by NUMA, the property will be adapted to the company’s uniform standards, incorporating intelligent yield management and an in-house operating and distribution system. In the future, processes such as check-in and housekeeping will also be managed digitally. Leveraging innovative technology solutions, NUMA offers a first-class guest experience and reduces operating costs by up to 60 per cent.
“We are very pleased to operate another property in Milan as part of our partnership with Investire SGR. We now have four NUMA locations in Milan, and more are planned. The trendy neighborhoods of Milan’s fashion metropolis perfectly embody the individual charm that makes NUMA properties so special. Here we see a great demand for individually designed, comfortable and fully digitized boutique apartments,” explains Gabriele Coen, Director of Real Estate Expansion at NUMA Italy.
“NUMA is again expanding its portfolio in Italy and now has an even stronger presence in Milan. Continued expansion is planned throughout Italy; in addition to our locations in Rome, Venice and Milan, we are also looking for suitable properties in Florence, Bologna, Naples and Palermo. With our sustainable business model, we offer real estate partners and hotel and palace owners the security of a professional operator with a solid international track record, backed by renowned international investors,” explains Dimitri Chandogin, President of the NUMA Group.
“We are very pleased to start a fruitful collaboration with the Numa Group with Corso Sempione in order to respond to the recent and growing demand for short-term products in the center of Milan and to adapt our properties to the needs of the current market, according to international, high quality and sustainable standards. The property has been completely renovated and refurbished according to modern and efficient technical and design solutions that allow us to offer an excellent and flexible level of service and a quality experience for future guests,” says Cinzia Lorusso, Head of Residential & Social Infrastructure Value Add/Opportunistic of Investire SGR.
