NUMA Group consolidates its expansion on the Iberian Peninsula with four new boutique hotels

NUMA Brio, Barcelona
  • Two new properties in Barcelona and another in the historic center of the city of Seville
  • In addition, another property added in Lisbon, in addition to the one launched last June

Madrid, March 9, 2023 – NUMA Group, the leading European operator of fully-digital boutique apartments and technology developer, today announced the opening of new state-of-the-art hotels in Spain – two in Barcelona, one in Seville – and a fourth in Portugal, in Lisbon.

NUMA has signed agreements with partner companies for these new emblematic buildings in cities the group has identified as key markets in its future growth strategy. The three buildings in Spain have just been inaugurated.

NUMA’s new properties on the Iberian Peninsula are:

NUMA Brio
This 12-room, freshly renovated boutique hotel is located at 14 Passeig de Gràcia, on one of the most famous avenues in Barcelona. Set in the heart of the bohemian neighborhood of Gracia, it has an attractive back garden that provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

NUMA Alegre
Nine newly renovated apartments in a 19th century building with a distinctive Andalusian patio. In an unbeatable location, just 100 meters from La Giralda and the Cathedral of Seville, its wonderful rooftop terrace offers a haven of peace with direct views of the Giralda and the Cathedral.

NUMA Colmena
This stunning building consists of 12 spacious apartments with one, two and three bedrooms. Located in the sought-after residential neighborhood of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and a few meters from Lesseps and Gracia. Perfect for families, couples and small groups looking to experience the city from a local perspective.

NUMA Iberia has also launched a new property in Lisbon, which perfectly complements the one that opened last year, offering now more than 140 units in the capital. Numa’s latest property is ideally situated in a very fashionable area of the Portuguese capital on Passos Manuel street and comprises 74 units.

Daniel Martí Hedström, Expansion Director of NUMA Iberia, explains: “For the NUMA Group, consolidating our presence in the Iberian Peninsula means continuing our expansion in a strategic market, both for our guests and for our real estate investors and partners. We already have several properties in Madrid, Barcelona and Seville, and we continue to move forward with a very strong pipeline of projects signed and under negotiation in Malaga, Valencia, Lisbon and Porto.”
