TOWNSCAPE develops service apartments for NUMA Group
  • 95 modern rooms for service apartment concept in Ackerstrasse
  • Start of construction is planned for Q1/2022
  • 15-year lease agreement signed with operator NUMA Group

Berlin, December 20, 2021: Project developer TOWNSCAPE is building a service apartment property with a total of 95 rooms in Berlin's Mitte district, at Ackerstraße 89, located in the Brunnenviertel. The project is divided into two structures, each with eight floors and a one-story central building in the inner courtyard. The NUMA Group has already signed a 15-year lease as operator for the property. NUMA, Germany's leading technology provider in the short-term rental sector, will then open its sixth location in Berlin with the apartment complex in Ackerstraße. Townscape will hold the property in its own portfolio.

This time, however, we decided to use the location for service apartments. The central location and not least the high density of settled companies in the immediate vicinity make the project an attractive accommodation for both business and private trips to the capital."

Townscape acquired the property at the beginning of 2021 and developed various utilization concepts during the planning phase. On the approx. 790-square-meter site, the three structures will provide approx. 4,000 square meters of above-ground GFA space distributed over seven upper floors. In addition, the first floor offers approx. 110 square meters of commercial space. The entire building is being constructed in accordance with the specifications for new-build efficiency building 55.
