- NUMA appoints Andrea Favarato as VP Corporate Sales
- Sarah Sonntag is the new Head of Corporate Sales for the DACH region
- With the acquisition of YAYS, NUMA further enhances its platform for corporate clients in cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague, Antwerp, and Paris
Berlin, 25 June 2024 - The NUMA Group, Europe's leading operator of a fully digitalised hospitality platform, has announced it is strengthening its corporate sales team with the appointments of Andrea Favarato and Sarah Sonntag. In early 2023, NUMA launched “NUMA for Business,” a booking portal tailored to the needs of NUMA’s corporate clients. These appointments come as the company continues to grow both corporate travel and corporate housing accounts and is now increasing its share of bookings in popular industries such as entertainment, consulting, and construction–having hosted entire film and television production crews, among others. NUMA offers both hotel and serviced-apartment accommodations in over 34 cities across Europe, including entertainment hubs and cities hosting international sporting events.
Andrea Favarato has more than two decades of professional experience in sales, with a specialization in SaaS technology and corporate sales. He co-founded and served as Managing Director at the innovative proptech firm, Sublime Group, and also held the position of VP of Sales at Quandoo, overseeing operations in Southern and Western Europe. Prior to that, he held a similar position at Groupon, where he spearheaded sales throughout Northern Italy. Throughout his career, Favarato has consistently demonstrated a flair for acquiring new clients and nurturing high-performing sales teams.
Sarah Sonntag is an experienced B2B sales executive specializing in the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). As Head of B2B Sales at Homelike, she led the entire B2B team and develops strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets. Prior to this, she gained experience in corporate accommodation needs while working at HRS Group, a global tech company with a focus on business travel.
“We are pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Sonntag and Andrea Favarato to the NUMA team. With their extensive experience in sales leadership and business travel needs, we are confident that they will play a crucial role in the expansion of our corporate customer platform, ‘NUMA for Business,’ in the DACH region and beyond. NUMA has already established a strong presence in corporate sales within the DACH region, and we are currently working on expanding our reach in other key European markets. The acquisition of YAYS has further enhanced our platform in cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague, Antwerp, and Paris, which are particularly attractive for business travelers,” explains Christian Gaiser, CEO and co-founder of the NUMA Group.
