• 1,000 square meters, 40 units, to open in summer 2024 • Deal expands NUMA’s footprint to more than 200 units in central Munich
Berlin, March 23, 2022 – The NUMA Group (https://partner.numastays.com), Europe’s leading digital hotel operator and technology developer, is the new operator of a serviced apartment complex with 40 units and a gross rental area of more than 1,000 sqm in an unbeatable location in Munich. A long-term lease for the complex has now been agreed with the Munich-based Omega Gruppe and the official opening of the new NUMA property at Paul-Heyse-Strasse 12 is scheduled for summer 2024 as a fully digital “Future Hotel.”
The property is centrally located in the popular station district of Munich, not far from Theresienwiese, famous around the world as the site of the annual Oktoberfest. The complex enjoys an ideal setting, within easy reach of first-class shopping amenities and a short stroll to the city center. Public transport, including the central train station, which offers direct connections to Munich Airport, can be reached in just a few minutes. The 40 units will be enhanced to bring them in line with NUMA’s characteristic urban/modern design and technology specifications over the next few months.

Together with the agreements we signed for properties in Munich’s Landwehr and Schwanthaler Strasse in 2021, NUMA will soon have over 200 units in Munich’s prime CBD.” Chandogin adds: “NUMA achieved very high occupancy rates of 85 percent in its 2,500 units in European A-cities in 2021, even in a tight hotel market that was hit hard by the pandemic. This year, we expect traveler numbers to rebound and are consistently expanding and opening additional sites in Germany and Europe.” Further openings in Munich are already in the pipeline.
