- Acquisition of 204 units in Bonn and Düsseldorf
- Four new properties in central locations
- NUMA is interested in other hotel and tourist apartment complexes in central locations, including in Cologne
Berlin, 6. June 2023 – NUMA Group, the leading European operator of fully-digital boutique apartments and technology developer, continues to expand its portfolio in Germany. With the acquisition of four new properties in the Rhineland region, NUMA has established a strong presence in yet another German metropolitan region.
In Bonn, NUMA has launched a hotel that has already been upgraded to NUMA standards and can be booked via NUMA as NUMA Bona. The property, which consists of 56 units in the former German capital, is centrally located and easily accessible at Kölnstraße 360-364, 53117 Bonn.
In the Rhine metropolis of Düsseldorf, NUMA has added the NUMA Artol to its portfolio. The property has 66 units and has also already been overhauled and is bookable through NUMA. The former hotel is located slightly north of the old town, in close vicinity to the city’s famous Hofgarten park, at Kaiserstraße 20, 40479. The second new Düsseldorf property, consisting of 52 units, is located in a prime location between the old town and Königsallee. The property is currently undergoing renovation and is expected to be open to guests from the Q4 2024. NUMA’s fourth new property is also situated in central Düsseldorf – a new building with 30 units, developed by ATENOR – and is scheduled to open at the end of 2023.
Following their acquisition by NUMA, the properties will also be updated to comply with NUMA’s uniformly high standards, allowing NUMA to implement its proprietary digital technologies, including intelligent yield management and property-specific operations, sales and marketing systems. In future, a whole range of processes, such as check-in and housekeeping, will also be managed digitally at these four locations. Leveraging its innovative technology solutions, NUMA provides both a first-class guest experience and reduces operating costs by up to 60 percent.
Dimitri Chandogin, President of NUMA Group: “NUMA is once again expanding its German portfolio and increasing its footprint in the Rhineland metropolitan region. With their urban flair, these four properties in Bonn and Düsseldorf are a perfect fit with the NUMA concept. We are already planning to accelerate our expansion in the region and are currently identifying suitable properties in a number of cities, including Cologne. Firstly, the NUMA Group is responding to the evolving requirements of young tourists, who prefer a digital concept, while also creating significant benefits for property owners thanks to the advantages of efficient, digital, low-staff operation compared to traditional hotels.”
