Berlin, 26 March 2024 - NUMA Group, Europe's leading fully digital hospitality operator for short, mid and extended stays, has just announced its expansion in Berlin Mitte in partnership with JAAS Gruppe, a Berlin-based project developer and real estate investor. This new location will be part of modern building ensemble with a gross floor area above ground of around 7,300 square meters, which will be built on a plot of around 2,028 square metres at Koloniestraße 3 - 4. The project is based on plans by architects KSP Engel and has already been awarded a DGNB platinum pre-certificate. Completion is planned for Q2 2026.

Dimitri Chandogin, President and Co-founder of the NUMA Group: "Berlin continues to be one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe and at the same time a prospering business center that attracts numerous leisure and business travelers. With this new property, we will be offering our guests a unique travel experience in the up-and-coming trendy district of Wedding, which also acts as a gateway to the entire capital thanks to its location."

Richard Jensch, Managing Partner of JAAS: "We are delighted to be partnering with NUMA, the leading fully digital operator of short and extended stays, as a tenant. On around 3,300 square metres, we are creating modern serviced flats that meet the company's high standards in terms of technical equipment and design. In the second building, the one facing the street, there will be around 3,500 square metres of modern office space designed for new working concepts, as well as around 500 square metres for catering and retail. The letting mandate has not yet been awarded; we are currently in talks with several estate agents."

The building ensemble planned for Koloniestraße has excellent public transport connections. The Pankstraße and Osloer Straße underground stations are within walking distance and are complemented by numerous nearby tram and bus stops. The Gesundbrunnen long- distance and regional railway station provides access to the Berlin Ringbahn, which serves the entire city area. There are numerous cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the nearby Panke river is ideal for a stroll.
