C&P Innovations, a business unit of C&P Immobilien AG, has launched its first property development at Gumpendorfer Strasse 60 in Vienna. The apartment building, originally constructed in 1876, will now undergo extensive renovation and is scheduled for completion in 2023. The redevelopment will create a ‘digital hotel’ with 57 serviced apartments.
Vienna, July 6, 2021: A total of 57 serviced apartments and a ground-floor commercial unit of 82 sqm are now being developed in a complex with a gross floor area of 3,035 sqm (plus open spaces) on this 1,228 sqm site in 1060 Vienna. The apartments will feature modern, high-quality materials and upscale kitchens throughout. Future residents will benefit from the area’s outstanding infrastructure, not least the easy access to the unbeatable public transport connections on Mariahilfer Strasse (subways stations for the U2/U3 lines at Neubaugasse, U2/U4 lines at Pilgramgasse, and various bus lines).
The property is being developed on behalf of the serviced apartment operator, COSI Group, led by Dimitri Chandogin, Europe’s leading technology provider in the short-term rental sector and driver of the new asset class Commercial Living, and is already fully let.
The special feature of the ‘digital hotel’ at Gumpendorfer Strasse 60 is the completely contactless handling of all processes, around 80 percent of which are automated. Future guests are given access to the virtual reception desk and/or the housekeeping app by means of PIN codes, and a concierge is available by phone or WhatsApp. The personnel costs saved as a result are reflected in below-average prices for the four-starhotel category. This concept proved particularly successful during the COVID 19 pandemic, achieving an occupancy rate of 90 percent across all sites.
